    Nevşehir Belediyesi, son günlerde yaşanan yoğun yağış sonrası kentin bazı noktalarında meydana gelen sel ve su baskınlarına son vermek için şehir merkezindeki dere yataklarının ıslahına başlıyor.

    Nevşehir Belediyesi özellikle sağanak yağışlarda bazı mahallelerde dağlardan sel suları ve bunla birlikte gelen çamurlardan kaynaklanan sel ve su baskınlarına karşı çalışmalarını yoğunlaştırdı. Belediye Başkanı Dr. Mehmet Savran, bu konuda bugün Belediye Başkan Yardımcısı Ersin Erol ile birlikte sahada incelemelerde bulundu.

    Başta dere ıslah projeleri olmak üzere çalışmaların gerçekleştirileceği noktaları gezen Belediye Başkanı Dr. Mehmet Savran, belediye teknik personellerinden bilgiler aldı. Savran, belediye olarak yaptıkları altyapı yenileme çalışmaları ile mahalleleri güçlü ve modern bir altyapıya kavuşturmalarına karşın özellikle dağlardan gelen sel sularına çözüm bulmak için dere yataklarının ıslah edilmesi konusunda DSİ ile imzaladıkları proje çerçevesinde çalışmalara başladıklarını kaydetti.

    Aynı zamanda Karayolları sorumluluk alanında bulunan Zübeyde Hanım Caddesi üzerindeki Şifa Köprülü Kavşağı’nda da yağmur suyu drenaj hattı imalatı gerçekleştireceklerini söyleyen Savran, “Son dönemde yaşadığımız sağanak yağışlar sonrasında şehrimizin bazı noktalarında ortaya çıkan görüntülerin yeniden yaşanmaması için kalıcı çözümler üretiyoruz. Günü kurtarmak yerine geleceğe yatırım yapıyor ve ciddi bir yatırıma imza atıyoruz. Bu çalışmalarımız tamamlandığında daha güçlü ve modern bir altyapıya kavuşacağız.” dedi.N
