MASKİ Genel Müdürlüğü, Akhisar ilçesinde geçtiğimiz haftalarda meydana gelen sel baskının ardından bölgede dere yataklarını temizleme çalışmalarını sürdürüyor.

MANİSA (İGFA) – Çalışmaların olduğu bölgelerde incelemelerde bulunan MASKİ Genel Müdür Yardımcısı Gökhan Çevik, 1 saatlik zaman diliminde 600 bin ton yağmur suyunun Akhisar’dan geçtiğini ifade etti. Dere temizlik esnasında çıkan atıklardan da bahseden Çevik, “Dere temizlik çalışmalarımız esnasında halı, moloz ve hafriyat, lastik, mobilya, hayvan ölüleri, cam şişe atıkları çıktı. Beni en çok mobilya çıkması şaşırttı. Çöplerimizi derelere atmamalıyız, su akışını ne kadar engellersek su baskınına o kadar yol açmış oluruz” dedi.

Akhisar ilçesinde 18 Haziran tarihinde 3 saat etkili olan sağanak metrekareye yaklaşık 94 kilogram düştü. Yoğun yağışın başlamasıyla birlikte MASKİ ve Manisa Büyükşehir Belediyesine bağlı ekipler hemen harekete geçti.
