    Türkiye karşıtı haberleri ve terör örgütü PKK’ya olan yakınlığı ile tanınan Dagens ETC muhabiri İsveçli Kaj Joakim Medin isimli şahıs, “Silahlı Terör Örgütüne Üye Olma” ve “Cumhurbaşkanına Hakaret” suçlarından tutuklandı.

    ANKARA (İGFA) – Dagens ETC muhabiri İsveçli Kaj Joakim Medin’in tutuklanmasına ilişkin açıklama İletişim Başkanlığı’ndan geldi.

    Tutuklama kararının gazetecilik faaliyetleriyle herhangi bir ilgisinin olmadığını altı çizilen açıklamada, “Medin, 11 Ocak 2023’te Stockholm’de PKK/KCK terör örgütü destekçisi şahıslarla Cumhurbaşkanımız Sayın Recep Tayyip Erdoğan’ın maketi yapılarak düzenlenen eyleme katılmıştır. Ankara Cumhuriyet Başsavcılığı Terör Suçları Soruşturma Bürosu, 13 Ocak 2023’te olayla ilgili soruşturma başlatmıştır. Soruşturma kapsamında söz konusu eylemi yapan, organize eden, basına yansıtan veya irtibatlı olduğu değerlendirilen Medin’in de aralarında bulunduğu 15 şüpheli tespit edilmiştir. Ayrıca şahsın, PKK/KCK terör örgütü ile basın arasındaki irtibatı sağladığı yönünde bir suç kaydı da bulunmaktadır” ifadeleri yer aldı.

    Hatırlanacağı gibi Dagens ETC, dış haber muhabiri Joakim Medin’in, İstanbul Büyükşehir Belediye Başkanı Ekrem İmamoğlu’nun tutuklanması sonrası başlayan protestoları haberleştirmek için İstanbul’a geldiği belirtilmişti.
